Annual Advocacy Classes

There are over 650,000 students on special education in California, and only a handful of professionals trained to serve this population. This course is taught by Rene Thomas Folse, JD, Ph.D who is both an attorney and licensed psychologist and is designed to help parents learn how to navigate this system and to recruit and train attorneys and other professionals to help them. This three day event is scheduled for three Saturdays each spring. Please check our site for the 2010 schedule for this class.

Rene Thomas Folse, JD, Ph.D.is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists, and the California Bar Association to sponsor MCLE programs for attorneys and he maintains sole responsibility for this program and its content. CE and MCLE continuing education credits will be given to psychologists and attorneys, six hours for each day attended. Please call our office at (805) 497-9596 for enrollment information.
