It is that time of year again to give kids with varying abilities, ages 8 and up, an opportunity to join in on the fun and learn how to golf. All classes are FREE and are being held on Sunday Evenings from 5pm-7pm at:

Please join Instructor Jon Gomez on the following Sunday evenings to learn how to play!
Mar. 28th, Apr. 25th, May 23rd, June 27th, July 18th, Aug. 29th and Sep. 26th.

"The Sandwich Kid" Premiere Huge Success

We are pleased to announce that over 800 seats were filled for the preview screening of the second Keri Bowers film "The Sandwich Kid" Friday, April 11, 2008 at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza. April is Autism Awareness Month, and we sponsored this film to support this month. The community feedback was great. The PAUSE4kids Board of Directors voted unanimously to reserve the Civic Arts Plaza again for next April, and we will start now to plan our agenda for Autism Month next year. The evening featured an awards ceremony honoring the educational professionals who have worked very hard for our children this year. Board member Susan Baukus presented the awards as shown below.
The evening included an exciting silent art auction as shown below.
And musical performances enjoyed by all.
